Long before sin entered the world, Adam walked in the garden with God. Even though Adam's relationship with God was perfect, God knew that Adam needed something more, so God in his wisdom created Eve, magnificently different and perfectly complimentary. The differences between men and women are a stoke of genius, they create mystery, intrigue, desire, but unfortunately in the post sin world they can also cause frustration. The homework this week is to read one or two chapters of the Songs of Solomon together with your spouse each night this week. Discuss with each other the different feelings that are expressed as well as the actions that foster the love described. Before the end of the week, write a hand written note to your spouse listing all the reasons that he/she is needed and appreciated by you. Have a marriage related topic you'd like to discuss?
